Where to find the Majora Mask - Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
The Majora's mask is an extremely useful item, for avoiding fights with monsters, which is well and truly hidden in the kingdom of Hyrule. It was a reward from the first DLC of Zelda Breath of the Wild, and it returns in Zelda Tears of the KingdomThis time for free.
What is the purpose of the Majora Mask?
The Majora's mask is a piece of armour to be fitted to the face. In addition to giving Link an absolutely terrifying look, it allows you to go completely unnoticed by the monsters. Or rather, they will come to you, attracted by their curiosity, but they will not attack you unless you hurt them first.
It is therefore a very useful item to get through the hordes of enemies and recover their possessions without having to fight.
How to get the Majora Mask?
While the mask makes fighting much easier, you'll have to prove that you deserve this bonus by fighting one of the most difficult battles in the game. Indeed, the chest is located in the Depths, under the ruins of the Amphitheatre (coordinates: -1137 -1208 -0499) or an ordeal awaits you.
When you step into the amphitheatre, a gate closes behind you and you come face to face with a miasma-corrupted Lynel. But he is not alone. There are in fact no less than five Lynels to overcomeeach one appearing when the previous one is killed.
These Lynels are more and more powerful and resistant. The first will be a simple blue Lynel with a sword, but you will also have to face a white Lynel in armour or with a gigantic spiked mace.
Fortunately, you don't have to kill all the Lynels in one go. You can teleport to safety between battles to replenish your hearts and weapons before returning to pick up where you left off. Just be aware that if a Blood Moon appears, you'll have to start the trial from scratch.
Once all the Lynels have been defeated, the chest unlocks and you can get your hands on Majora's mask.
