Weapon and Shield Duplication Glitch in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

/Note: Since patch 1.1.2 of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom was deployed on 26 May, this glitch no longer works. You'll need to play previous versions to use it.

Among the glitches in Zelda Tears of the KingdomThe most practical ones are certainly those that allow the duplication of objects. In particular, it is possible to duplicate weapons and shields so you don't have to worry about the durability of weapons.

In this guide, we will only discuss the weapon duplication glitch. But it is also possible to duplicate materialsThis is a great way to get rich, especially with diamonds!

The Weapon and Shield Duplication glitch

The method for duplicating a weapon works the same way for bows and shields. Be aware that even if you can duplicate these items, you will not be able to carry more than your saddlebag allows. Furthermore, you cannot duplicate the sword of legend since it cannot be dropped. You can however duplicate the shield of Hylia.

Preparing the glitch

For this method, you will need :

• Two weapons (or two bows (or two shields (well, you get the idea)).
• That is all.

Performing weapon duplication

Open the pause menu (+). Select the weapon you want to duplicate and equip it. Exit the pause menu (B), then pause the game again (+). Go to the last menu tab on the right and save your game.

Once the game is saved (and without leaving the pause menu), go back to the weapon list. Select the equipped weapon you want to duplicate and press "Remove from bag". Then equip another weapon.

You will now have to be very quick. Exit the pause menu and restart it immediately. It must be reopened within 3 frames. Once back in the pause menu, select the weapon that is currently equipped and do it in turn " Out of the bag" without leaving the pause menu.

Load your saved game earlier. You should have your two weapons in hand, while a copy of the first weapon will be on the ground in front of you.

The copy on the ground will be an exact copy: it will have the same amalgamated object if it had one and will also keep its durability. It is therefore better to use this glitch on a brand new weapon.
