Unlock the Amulet of Teleportation from Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Amulet of Teleportation is an extremely practical, not to say indispensable, tool when you want to save time when travelling. If the Watchtowers and Sanctuaries of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom are so numerous that you never need to run around, sometimes you just want to be able to teleport wherever you want. That's exactly what the Amulet of Teleportation offers.

Prerequisites for obtaining the Amulet of Teleportation

Before you can unlock the Amulet of Teleportation, you must first unlock the Sancutaire detector. He himself asked you to unlock the Camera and complete a few quests beforehand. We invite you to follow the guide to the Sanctuary Detector.

Once this is done, return to Faras at the Pru'ha laboratory in the village of Elimith (coordinates 3779; -2121; 0251;). He will suggest several possible upgrades for your Pru'ha Tablet. One of them is the Amulet of Teleporation. Ask Faras to install it to start the quest.

Unlock the Amulet of Teleportation

Faras explains that to unlock the function of the Amulet of Teleportation, he needs you to bring him a prototype amulet. But he left it in his laboratory in Akkala. It's a building laid out at the north-eastern end of Hyrulewhich is quite a distance.

Take care when approaching the laboratory, especially if you are talking to travellers. The area is infested with Yiga, who will try to kill you if you talk to them. The laboratory itself has been requisitioned by a gang of Yiga, who must be defeated to gain entry.

Once inside, you'll find a fashionista who's been forced to make outfits for the gang. He'll give you the Yiga suit. In a chest on the ground floor, you'll find the Prototype.

Take the prototype back to Faras in Elimith's laboratory and you'll unlock the Amulet of Teleportation.

How to use the Amulet of Teleportation

The Amulet lets you create a teleportation point just about anywhere you want. To place it, go to your inventory, in the tab dedicated to important items. Select the amulet and use it. You can now teleport to this point just as you would to any other point on the map.

You can retrieve the Amulet at any time and place it elsewhere. Simply go to your map, select the point created by the Amulet and select "Retrieve".

This is extremely useful for completing quests that require you to speak to a specific character. Place the amulet in front of him, go and carry out the tasks he requests and teleport immediately in front of him to complete the quest.

You can also place it in a place where you want to farm resources regularly.

Unlock two additional Amulets

If one amulet isn't enough, you can unlock two more. It's quite simple, all you need to do is activate some watchtowers in Hyrule. Faras will give you a second amulet if you've activated 10 towers. He'll give you a third if you've activated all 15 towers in Hyrule.
