Valorant Patch Notes 1.01

Valorant gets its first post-release patch. If Patch 1.00 was inevitably very rich, this Patch 1.01 which intervenes only one week after the release doesn't bring anything concrete... except for another nerf to Sage and a nice reference to GoldenEye 64 in the form of a golden pistol.

Sage nerfed again

Since the start of the closed beta, Sage has only been nerfed. This patch, however quite stingy in content, perpetuates this tradition! This time again, the Barrier Orb's power is reduced. The range of the ability is divided by two (from 20 meters to 10 meters).

Changes to the Spike Rush mode

Even if Valorant isn't in beta phase anymore since patch 1.0, the Spike Rush mode introduced during this same patch is still in testing phase. A few changes are made to the mode in patch 1.01.

New orbs have been added:

Health Orb:
Gradually heals the entire team for 240 health over 20 seconds.

Deception Orb:
All opponents get a Paranoia effect for 10 seconds.

Golden Gun:
Gives the player a perfectly accurate Golden Pistol capable of killing with a single bullet. They can only fire one bullet at a time and only have 3 ammo in total.

Not all orbs can appear in each game. The orb that fully recharges the Ultimate is available in all areas. Out of the 7 other orbs available, 4 of them will be randomly selected from the lobby. These 5 orbs will be the only ones to appear during the game.

As always, this patch 1.01 brings a multitude of bug fixes, but none of the ones we mentioned yesterday.
