Valorant Open Tour France, the official French circuit with Mandatory
Mandatory and Webedia are partnering with Riot Games France to launch the VALORANT Open Tour France. The VALORANT Open Tour France is a series of four official tournaments to be held throughout 2021. This French circuit will allow French teams to compete for a a total cashprize of €50,000. The first three tournaments will be qualifiers for a final tournament. The winners of the final tournaments will be crowned Valorant French Champions of 2021.
Valorant Open Tour France tournaments
The first qualifying tournament of the Valorant Open Tour France will be held from 8th to 23rd May, and will be open to 128 teams. The 3 best teams will win their place in the final. To celebrate the event, the first tournament will be the occasion to see a performance of DJ Apashe.
The second tournament will take place from 19th June to 4th July, and will also be open to 128 teams. But this time, the tournament will be part of the Lyon Esport! The top 3 teams in this tournament will also qualify for the final. In case teams have already qualified in a previous tournament, the next teams in the ranking will qualify.
The third and final qualifying tournament will take place from 23rd to 31st October and will be open to up to 256 teams. This will be the last chance to enter the final tournament. This time, there will be only 2 places left to qualify. The teams will have to fight harder than ever to get them!
The top 8 teams from the three qualifying tournaments will then meet in a final tournament, from 13th to 20th November 2021. The grand final on November 20th will be played in LAN and will crown the 2021 French Champions of Valorant.
Follow the Valorant Open Tour France
All tournaments will of course be broadcast live. You will be able to follow the matches on Twitch via our channel Mandatory or on TV thanks to the channel ES1. In order to bring the competition to life, you will find four experienced hosts who are particularly involved in the Valorant scene. The trio Lutti, Suriplay and KiiperOne will comment on all the phases of the different tournaments. They will be joined by ZeratoR for the finals of each stage of the Valorant Open Tour France. Mandatory and MGG will also cover the French circuit and its different teams on their respective websites.

Tournaments participation
The goal of this circuit is to highlight Valorant's French talents. This is why it's open to all teams with with at least three players living in France, Belgium or Switzerland. Each player must be at least 16 years old and have reached Platinum 1 rank in the Valorant competitive mode. The tournaments are also open to teams qualified for the Valorant Masters, even if they don't have three players residing in France, provided that the French circuit is the only national circuit in which they participate.
Registration for the first tournament will open in April.
