The format of the Red Bull Home Ground #3

The Red Bull Home Ground has a rather unique competition format, the Home and Away. The principle is quite simple: before each match, the teams choose a card that represents their house. The matches are all played in BO5, but this format has a special feature. The match starts with the two cards that have been selected, and if one team wins both, then the match ends. However, if there is a tie, the match continues as normal and goes to BO5.

The 9th December, the competition will start with a group phase in BO3. Two teams will qualify directly for the semi-finals, four others will advance to the quarter-finals and the last two will be eliminated.

The quarter-finals will be played on 10th December, this time in the above-mentioned Home and Away format. Two more teams will be eliminated at the end of the day.

Finally, on 11th December, the four teams still in the running will compete in semi-final. The winning teams will then compete in final, while the two losers will see their Home Ground adventure come to an end.
