Team Liquid recruits the Fish123 players and ScreaM

For the past few weeks, it's been rumoured that Team Liquid had designs on the players of the team Fish123 and ScreaM. It's through Twitter and an extremely well produced video that the news was made official.

The esports organisations of the European scene are slow to sign players. So far, only G2 Esports and Ninjas in Pyjamas were officially represented in the various competitions. This caution was beginning to strain the patience of players, as some amateur teams decided to end their Valorant careers.

Ec1s, captain of the Fish123 team, had already spoken about this in May and regretted that no organisation wanted to recruit their team. They then lost Ardiis, who moved to G2 Esports. The latter has been replaced by ScreaM, a well-known Belgian player in the Counter-Strike scene. For 2 months, this reconstituted team participated in the Ignition Series with promising results.

Seeing itself recruited by Team Liquid, the team achieves one of its goals: to continue to play and to progress together. Best of all, they were able to keep their coach, Connor 'Sliggy' Blomfield. We can't wait to see what the team will do, now that they have the backing of an organisation.

The players of Team Liquid:

  • Adam 'ec1s' Eccles
  • Dom 'soulcas' Sulcas
  • James 'Kryptix' Affleck
  • Travis 'L1NK' Mendoza
  • Adil 'ScreaM' Benrlitom
