Riot Games announces the Valorant G-Loot Clash

Now that the Valorant Champions are over, you probably thought you'd be bored until the start of the next competitive season of Valorant. Well, rest assured, that won't be the case. Riot Games has thought of everything and presents the Valorant G-Loot Clash.

This year's Valorant Champions ended much earlier than last season, creating a competitive gap in the schedule of over three months. In order not to leave fans without content for so long, Riot Games created a brand new tournament: the Valorant G-Loot Clash. During six weeks, the best professional teams in the EMEA region will compete for the ultimate prize and the $50,000 cashprize.

The teams will be able to register from 3rd October and will then participate in qualifying phases (per region) from 19th to 23rd October. These qualifications will be divided into three regions : EU West, EU East, Turkey & MENA. At the end of this phase, the best teams will go on to compete against teams from the G-Loot Brawl in the next stage: the Showdown.

The Showdown will consist of twelve teams. Eight from the qualifying rounds and four from the G-Loot Brawl. This new phase will take place from 28th to 30th October.

Finally, the competition will end with the Grand Final which will be held from 25th to 27th November and will mobilise many casters and analysts. Sixteen teams will compete against each other, among the best of the Showdown and those invited to the VCT EMEA.

Apart from the qualifying rounds, the entire tournament can be followed on Twitch, YouTube and TikTok of G-Loot.

No further details are available at the moment, but more information will be revealed soon on the VCT's social networks and on the G-Loot website.
