rhyme joins Gen.G

The North American team Gen.G has announced the recruitment of Nowergian player Emir "rhyme" Muminovic.

The Gen.G players did not have an exemplary season, but still had relatively good results, including a top 3 to Masters 1 North America. They were also able to participate in the Last Chance Qualifier, where they made a top 5-6, which deprived them from Champions.

At the beginning of November, the loan of Nolan "Temperature" Pepper, inactive player at Evil Geniuses, came to an end. The American organisation was therefore looking for a player to replace him and rhyme will take his place for the next VCT season!

rhyme spent about a year and a half playing for Ninjas in Pyjamas, a team that was disbanded in November, following the organisations' desire to play in Latin America. He played in many VCT competitions, making top 1 and top 2 in Challengers 1 and 2 Phase 1.

Qualified for Masters 1 Europe, the roster failed to make it out of the group stage and made a top 5-6. The second half of the season was a disappointment and the team failed to qualify for the next Masters. With insufficient points, they also failed to qualify for the Last Chance Qualifier and lost any chance of going to Valorant Champions.

While he was org-less since 2nd November, the player has just been confirmed as fifth member of Gen.G and thus completes the roster. We wish him good luck for the rest of his career!
