Red Bull Home Ground 3 Groups

It's the off-season for the VCT, but the competition doesn't stop. Red Bull is organising a third edition of its Home Ground, but this time with international teams. We knew the majority of these teams when the tournament was announced, but we now know all the participants and the groups distribution.

We note the arrival of Cloud9 and the Team Heretics in the tournament. The former takes the last remaining slot, while the latter replaces BIG who finally decided to part with his players.

This Home Gorund 3 is therefore a competition between Europe and America, which is rare enough to be highlighted. Indeed, teams from different continents usually only meet at the VCT Masters.

The teams will compete in BO3 within their groups. The best team in each group advances to the semi-finals, the next two to the quarter-finals, while the last team is eliminated. Once the play-offs have started, all matches are played in BO5 in a direct elimination bracket.

The competition takes place this weekend from 9th to 11th December, at the same time as the French Cup finals. Don't hesitate to go and have a look (but only when we're not playing, eh.)
