OG and LDN UTD announce partnership
A few days ago, the two European formations OG and LDN UTD announced that they were now associated around a common roster.
This is the news that came out on Friday 6th May: OG and LDN UTD are now partners. Originally, OG was already operating in VRL France and will play its first match of the second split on 9th May. Thanks to this association, the French structure now has a foot in the VCT.
The Lithuanian team qualified for the first split of the Challengers 1 EMEA by finishing second in the Closed Qualifier 2. However, their participation in the main event was a bit complicated as the team finished in 5th place in their group with only 2 wins and 3 losses. Having failed to secure a place in the playoffs, LDN UTD saw its VCT adventure come to an end very quickly for this split 1.
After these setbacks, the roster was slightly modified and Aurimas " Dreamas " Zablockis has been benched. Although his place was vacant for several weeks, it has now been filled. It is Tautvydas " hype " Palvadicius, former Alliance player, who will replace him.
Qualified for second Challengers of the year, the team will have another opportunity to show what they can do. Their first match will be played on 13th May under their new name OG LDN UTD. We wish them good luck for this new stage!
