WeDid: the end of its adventure at NRG

The American team NRG recently announced the departure of WeDid, a player who had recently joined the team.

At the end of June 2021, WeDid signs a contract with NRG to fill the vacancy left by the departure of Daps. Former player in the team XSET, he had managed to qualify for the Masters 1 NA, as well as the Challengers Finals.

The results were not as good with NRG, however, as the roster placed 31st and 32nd respectively in the Phase 3 Challengers 1 and Challengers 2 qualifiers. It did achieve a top 7 in the NSG Summer Championship Open 11, and even managed to reach second place in the second place of the NSG Summer Championship.

This last tournament marks the end of the VCT 2021 season for NRG, as the team failed to qualify for the Valorant Champions. The aim is now to build a strong foundation for the VCT 2022.

Following this performance, WeDid was sidelined for about a month, until NRG announced his departure.

The player, now free, has announced that he is open to offers, and should be back on the Valorant competitive scene next season.
