Mwzera will play in Keyd Stars for the Valorant Champions
The Valorant Champions are fast approaching and teams are making some changes of players. In this perspective, Keyd Stars has just officially announced that mwzera will be replacing nTK for this competition.
A few days ago, a Brazilian site speculated that Keyd Stars was looking for a replacement for nTK, and that this replacement could be krain or mwzera. If we didn't have more information about this, we do now, as the team has announced that mwzera is joining its roster for the Valorant Champions.
Until now, the player played for Gamelanders Blue, with which he achieved more than respectable performances, including winning the First Strike Brazil 2020 and the Brazilian Masters during the first phase of the VCT.
Long considered one of the best players in Brazil, mwzera failed to qualify for the Champions with Gamelanders Blue. Joining Keyd Stars is a great opportunity for him to shine on the international stage at the biggest even of the year.
It's important to note that this is a rental, although we do not know if it is only for the Valorant Champions or if it will be extended. However, the arrival of mwzera may be an opportunity for murizzz, Jett's and Raze's player, to focus solely on Jett, an indispensable Agent in this VCT.
This is not the first time that a team has rented a player from another team. It happened last spring when Sentinels rented TenZ to replace Sinatraa, after the latter was suspended following serious allegations.
On the nTK side, no information has been given as to his replacement, or even to indicate a potential departure from the team, so one can imagine that this replacement is only temporary.
