Masters 1: Groups and schedule unveiled

With only a few days to go before the start of the Masters 1 Reykjavik, Riot Games has unveiled the composition of the groups as well as the planning of the event.

The competition will start with a phase in GSL format. Two groups of four teams have been formed and these will compete in double elimination matches in BO3. At the end of these matches, only the top two teams in each group will advance to the playoffs. They will join teams already qualified, which are: G2 Esports, The Guard, Paper Rex and LOUD.

DRX and ZETA DIVISION will open the ball with a match at 3pm (GTM), followed by KRÜ Esports versus Team Liquid at 5pm (GTM) and OpTic Gaming versus XERXIA at 7pm (GTM).

The teams that win games A3, A5, B3 and B5 will qualify for the rest of the competition and will get their place in the playoffs. To follow the event, see you on Sunday 10th April at 3pm (GTM) on the Valorant Twitch channel.
