Dates for the 2023 French Valorant Cup

After the success of the first edition, Riot Games has announced the return of the Valorant French Cup. This competition for teams from France and the Benelux countries brings the 2023 season to a close. Last year's event, Mandatory won with flying colours. Needless to say, our players are more than determined to repeat the feat and bring the crown home once again! In this article, you will find all important dates about the competition.


The Coupe de France 2023 brings together a total of twelve teams. Some of them secured their slots via the VCL France Split 2, while others won their places through the Valorant Trinity Trials. The last positions to be gleaned have been distributed during the Open Qualifier which took place on 9 and 10 September.

The competition will begin 21 September. As was the case last year, the teams will be competing over several weeks, until the 1st OctoberThe Grand Final will take place on the same date. Note that, unlike the previous edition, the final will be 100% online.

With the new format selectedThe tournament will consist of two phases, group and playoffs. The first phase will take place from 21 to 24 September. After a few days' break, the qualified teams will take part in the play-offs, from 28 September to 1 October.
