Immortals parts ways with truo

Last night, Immortals announced that it was parting ways with Robert " truo " Pham, the latest addition to the team. The team is now back to a 5-player roster.

Since the recruitment of truo, Immortals has not performed well. The team did not qualify for any of the Phase 3 Challengers and will therefore not enter the Last Chance Qualifier, as the 10 points from the first NA Masters weren't enough.

One of the reasons for truo's departure is probably that his role was too similar to those of Kehmicals and ShoT_UP. Indeed, all three of them play duelists and truo didn't bring much diversity to the Immortals roster.

Arrived at the end of June, truo will finally stay less than two months in the team and will have played only 4 matches, the last being the one against FaZe Clan during the Open Qualifier of the Challengers 2 of Phase 3 and which ended in a 2 to 0 defeat.

Shortly after the announcement of his departure, the player expressed on Twitter his desire to join a new team, preferably as a duelist. Tomorrow, his former teammates will participate in the Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship.
