Giants parts ways with Meddo, hoody and pipsoN

The European Giants team recently announced that it was parting ways with three of its members, who had been with the team since the beginning of the year: Meddo, hoody and pipsoN.

The start of the VCT was complicated for the team, which achieved unconvincing results. In the first two stages, the roster did not manage to get further than the qualifying stages. This led to some changes in the players, and pipsoN was appointed coach

The second half of the season went better, and the team finished second in the Challengers 3 of Phase 3 Europe. This allowed them to qualify for the play-offs. However, they only achieved a top 6 which prevented them from qualifying for the Masters in Berlin. This competition also marked the end of their VCT season. Indeed, as they did not accumulate enough points throughout the year, they were unable to participate in the Last Chance Qualifier Europe. However, they recently finished third in the Red Bull Home Ground #2, losing to Acend in the semi-finals.

Now that the season is coming to an end, the team is making changes to its roster in the hope of having a better 2022 season and qualifying for the Valorant Champions. Meddo, hoody and pipsoN have been let go.

For the moment, none of them has found a team, but hoody indicated on his Twitter account that he would soon communicate on this subject. As for Meddo, who was an excellent player in his early days on Valorant, he shouldn't have too much trouble finding a new roster to play in.
