ESports Connected arrives on the Korean stage

ESports Connected is a new organisation that came into being in early December. Shortly after its creation, it started to announce the players and staff that would make up the team.

On the players side, k1Ng, zunba, Moothie and GodDead have joined the ranks. They will be coached by Jaemin and peri.

k1Ng is originally a player of Vision Strikers, a team with which he had a very good 2021 season, including winning the Masters 1 Korea and participating in the Champions a few weeks ago. After this event, the player was sidelined and has just been loaned to ESports Connected.

zunba saw his VCT season end at the Last Chance Qualifier APAC, where he made a top 5-6 with F4Q, after being beaten by NUTURN Gaming. His team split the same day, and he was left without a roster. He recently participated in the Utage Valorant Defiance Tournament, with a small team called Hate Mix, with which he finished in second place.

Moothie has worked with several teams this year, including Cloud9 Korea and LAG Gaming. His performances were mixed and he failed to qualify for international events this season. Released by LAG Gaming in May, he finished the VCT circuit with various smaller teams, but didn't make it further than the Phase 3 Challengers.

GodDead also came through F4Q, a team he left in June 2021. He recently participated in the National ShotVAL Pride with 이사가자, but before that, he hadn't been seen on the competitive scene since the Phase 2 Challengers. Joining ESports Connected will be an opportunity for him to get back on track.

Finally, the coaches Jaemin and peri are both former members of NUTURN Gaming. They left the organisation at the beginning of December, after having obtained very satisfactory results throughout the season. They notably led their team to a top 2 to Masters 1 Korea, then a top 3 to Reykjavik Masters. Jaemin was already a coach, but this was not the case for peri, who until then had participated in the VCT as a player. He will make his debut as a coach in January 2022.

With all these recruitments, the team is almost complete and only a fifth player is missing to complete the roster! We can't wait to find out who it is and we wish this new organisation good luck for its first competitive season.
