DRX Vision Strikers bench Lakia
With the 2022 VCT season about to begin, some teams are still making changes to their rosters. This is the case for DRX Vision Strikers, who has just announced that Lakia has been sidelined.
Lakia started in Vision Strikers in June 2020, being a member of the original roster. But in November of the same year, the player joined NUTURN Gaming, a team with which he notably made a top 2 in the Masters 1 Korea, as well as a top 3 at the Masters in Reykjavik.
After this great performance, he finally returned to Vision Strikers. The roster dominated the entire third phase of the VCT and earned its place in the Berlin Masters where it achieved a top 5-8.
Having accumulated enough points throughout the season, the team was able to enter Valorant Champions where they eventually failed to make it out of the group stages. The team hasn't been seen in competition since, and some changes have already been made. k1Ng has recently been loaned to ESports Connected, a new team on the Valorant scene.
It is now Lakia who is out of the roster, after a mutual agreement with the organisation. He is open to new opportunities, and we hope that he will find a team before the season starts again.
