Dissolution of the M3 Champions team

It's the end for the Russian team M3 Champions. After two years of competition, one of which was under the name of Gambit Esports, the players and staff have decided to part ways and explore new opportunities on their own.

The end of M3 Champions has been in sight for some time, but it is now official. It must be said that since the beginning of the year, the results were not necessarily there. The team was one of the best in the VCT in 2021 and had won several titles, including the Masters 3 champion Berlin.

Unfortunately, things got complicated this season when Gambit Esports has parted ways with its roster following the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The players then decided to develop as independents within the competition, creating M3 Champions.

The 2022 season was therefore marked by uncertainty, as the team had some difficulties in performing. However, they did manage to qualify for the Last Chance Qualifier, but has failed in the final against Team Liquid, which deprived them of a qualification for the Valorant Champions.

Thereafter, the players were released from their contract with Gambit and decided to look for a new structure. But nAts has left the ship at the end of August, and just one month later it was the entire roster that decided to split up. All members without exception posted on their social networks that they were now free agents and that they were open to new opportunities.

We hope that they will all manage to find a team and that we will see them playing in the VCT next season.
