Davidp and Ambi join Giants Gaming

In stand-in for about a month, Davidp and Ambi officially signed in Giants Gaming.

David " Davidp " Prins is a former player of G2 Esports, with which he won the Mandatory.gg Cup and the 3-4th place of the First Strike EU. More recently, he spent a few months with Excel Esports which which he took the second place of the Spring Tournament of the Valorant Open Tour France. As for Štěpán " Ambi " Beránek, he is entering the big league. The player was previously a member of Team Sampi and won small tournaments like the Aim Lab EU Series #6 and the CheckMate Gaming Tournament – Europe #4.

Davidp and Ambi had joined Giants Gaming as stand-ins since 15th July, to replace Ričardas " Boo " Lukaševičius and Michał " MOLSI " Łącki, who were benched and then dismissed a few days later.

The players have proven themselves during the Challengers 2 of Phase 3 and seem to have found their place in Giants. With this new line-up, the team has beaten big teams such as Team Vitality, Fnatic, Team Liquid and Natus Vincere. It was only a matter of time before the organisation officially announced the signing of these players. This was done a few hours before the start of their match against Guild Esports during the Challengers Playoffs EMEA.

In order to replace Boo, Davidp started to pick Omen and Viper, Agents he had hardly ever played before, being more used to Sage, Astra or Breach. Ambi was already playing Sova as MOLSI, so he didn't need to change his agent picks.

Giants Gaming will face Davidp's former team, G2 Esports, tonight in the 4th round of the Challengers Playoffs EMEA lower bracket. If they win, they will earn a spot in the Masters 3 in Berlin !
