VCT Challengers 2 EMEA – Matches – Week 1
Just as the second phase of the VCT 2022 has already started in many parts of the world, the Challengers 2 EMEA matches are just beginning. As in the first split, the 12 teams competing in this tournament have been divided into 2 groups.
Each week, we offer you a quick summary of the scores, as well asa more complete summary of the matches. Find out everything you need to know about the first week of competition.
Planning of the week
Regular season matches will normally still be played on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
This second Challengers EMEA will start on Friday 13th May, with a match between BBL Esports and Natus Vincere. The day will continue with a confrontation between OG LDN UTD and Acend.
During Saturday 14th, Fnatic will face FunPlus Phoenix, and then it will be the turn of Team Liquid to return to the competition, against the players of BIG.
On Sunday 15th May, the rosters of Guild Esports and M3 Champions will open the hostilities. The weekend will end with the first match of FOKUS in this VCT 2022, against G2 Esports.
FOKUS is the only new team in this phase 2. The roster joined the competition by winning the promotional tournament, which it participated in after having triumphed in the German VRL.
