The teams qualified for the Valorant Champions 2022

Even if the Copenhagen Masters 2 is not over yet, some teams have already qualified for the last stage of the VCT 2022, the Valorant Champions. Last year it was held in Berlin. This year it is in Berlin, the competition will take place in Istanbul and should take place from 2nd to 18th September.

Slots distribution

The Valorant Champions are the final tournament of the season, and crown the best team in the world. The 16 most successful rosters from the different regions will compete.

Throughout the year, the teams accumulate of VCT pointsThis is based on their performance in the Challengers and Masters. If they get enough points, the structures can directly access the Valorant Champions. If they do not automatically qualify, and depending on their position in the points ranking, teams can access to the Last Chance Qualifier of their region. It offers a last chance for teams to qualify for the Champions. This stage will take place in August.

The slots are distributed as follows:

  • 3 Slots for the NA region 2 pre-qualified teams + 1 team via the LCQ NA.
  • 4 Slots for South America 1 Slot for Brazil + 1 Slot for the LATAM region + 2 Slots via the LCQ SA.
  • 3 Slots for the EMEA region 2 pre-qualified teams + 1 team via the LCQ EMEA (including MENA).
  • 1 Slot for Korea + 1 Slot for Japan + 2 Slots for the South East Asia region. These areas will participate in the 2 APAC LCQs (North and South), which offer 2 additional slots.

Qualified teams

At the moment, the 10 qualifiers for the Valorant Champions via VCT points are known. Only the teams from the various Last Chance Qualifiers are still to be determined. Information will be updated as it becomes available.
