The teams qualified for Challengers 2 EMEA

The second phase of the Valorant Champions Tour 2022 has already started in some regions. The EMEA teams will compete for the Challengers 2 trophy from 13th May next.

Access to the second Challengers

For this second phase, the entry requirements for the Challengers 2 EMEA were different from the first tournament. This time around, no open or close qualifiers. The teams that participated in Challengers 1 almost all retained their places.

The absence of a new qualifying phase does not mean that there is no new team. Indeed, the two worst performing teams in the previous phase, SuperMassive Blaze and BIG, played a promotional tournament with the best teams from the various VRLs. This tournament determined two teams that would be included in Challengers 2, alongside the other structures already present.

While most of the teams returned for this new split, SuperMassive Blaze did not. The final of the upper bracket was won by the players of FOKUS, who have therefore qualified for this Challengers 2. The players of BIG, won the final and therefore managed to stay in the Challengers 2.
