Key dates for the Valorant Champions 2022
The Copenhagen Masters 2 ended with the coronation of FunPlus Phoenix. The next and final stage of this VCT 2022 is the world championship, the Valorant Champions. This final battle will see the 16 best teams in the world compete against each other, and will crown the most successful roster of the year. If last year the tournament took place in Berlin, this year it will take place in Turkey, in Istanbul. In this article, we give you all the important dates related to this competition.
Throughout the year, different teams from around the world competed in Challengers and even Masters for the best, accumulating VCT points according to their performance. The best of the best from each region will join the Valorant Champions to try and win the title of the best team in the world.
This epic tournament will start at the end of August and continue through September. Here is the current general schedule of the competition:
- 31 August to 08 September - Group phase
- 09 to 13 September - Double elimination bracket
- 16th September - Upper Bracket Final and Lower Bracket Semi-Final
- 17 September - Lower Bracket Final
- 18 September - Grand Final
While the majority of qualified teams is already known, some of it is still to be determined. The last slots will be put into play during the Last Chance Qualifiers, which take place in August. The CQL EMEA will take place from 7th to 14th August. In the following article, you can find all the qualified structures.
