Last Chance Qualifier EMEA: Schedule, results and teams - VCT 2023
In the EMEA region, as in the other two, the Last Chance Qualifier are a crucial stage for all teams who have not yet qualified Valorant Champions. These last-chance tournaments offer a final opportunity to acquire a slot for the most prestigious competition of the year. The LCQ EMEA 2023 teams
In each of the International Leagues, EMEA, Americas and Pacific, three teams have already been selected for the Valorant Champions 2023. In EMEA, the selection was made through the Tokyo Masters. The three best-placed teams in the final ranking of this tournament qualified. These were Fnatic, Team Liquid and FUT Esports who have been allocated a slot.
The Last Chance Qualifier allows one and only one team to take part in the Valorant Champions. The team that gets its place is none other than the winner of the tournament. However, thanks to Fnatic's victory in the Tokyo Masters, the EMEA region has an extra slot for the Valorant Champions, slot which will go to the other finalist in this competition.
Note that of the seven teams initially qualified for this LCQ, only six will take part. Recent news, Team Vitality announced the withdrawal of Valorant from its rosterin agreement with Riot Games. This choice follows the recent death of one of their players, Twisten, an event that has had a major impact on the club as a whole.
