Up And Down teams - VCL France 2023
The Valorant Challengers League France is about to come to an end, as the play-off phase kicks off next week. While all the teams taking part are guaranteed to keep their places in the VCL France in 2024, this is not the case for BLX UTD and 3D Max, which have yet to prove their worth via Up and Downs. This will be no mean feat, as they will be up against the best players on the lower circuits. Here's a quick look at their respective careers.

BLX UTD is one of two teams from the VCL France 2023. At the start of the season, the players played under the Sector One banner, however, as the structure had ceased its esports activities, they were authorised to continue competing under the BLX UTD tag. Overall it was a complicated season for MaximN and his teammates. At the end of Split 1, they finished at the bottom of the table with 4 wins and 14 losses, and achieved exactly the same results at the end of the second Split. Despite this, the players now have experience at a higher level than the OTF and will undoubtedly be able to capitalise on this advantage.

3DMax is the other organisation to emerge from VCL France 2023. As was the case for BLX UTD, the season was a complicated one for this organisation, which launched on Valorant by signing the former Valorians. Presumably very disappointed with the results they achieved in the first Split - last with 4 wins and 14 losses - the directors have chosen to put all the players on the bench.
So it's with a brand new line-up that 3D Max began Split 2. The lack of time to perfect, and even set up, the team game could explain the difficulties they encountered during the regular season. With as many wins and losses as their predecessors, they finished second last.

If you follow the French Valorant sports scene, Klanik Esport is probably not a name that is totally unfamiliar to you, since the team took part in the 2022 French Cup. Already a top performer on the Open Tour last year, it did even better this year. As proof, they won four different stages and even won the final tournament. They are without doubt one of the teams to watch in this tournament.

Pie - Shak0w - z1pAx - Robz - KaweNtw
Amazing is another team whose name is beginning to appear regularly on the French scene. They too took part in the French Cup last year thanks to their excellent performances in the French Open Tour. Once again this year, they shone on the amateur circuit, finishing fifth in the overall rankings. These results enabled them to reach the final tournament, where they climbed all the way up the lower bracket to reach the Grand Final. Although they lost to Klanik, they are still a team to watch.

DGRj - Marin - SabAAA - Yotaa - TheCady
F9 Hetic secured its place by winning the Open Tour Last Chance Qualifier. Before reaching this stage, the players distinguished themselves on several occasions on the amateur circuit. They finished third in stage 4, second in the next and first in the last. Qualified for the playoffs, the team reached the final of the upper bracket, but lost to Klanik, and was eliminated for good by the Amazing after the small final.

Apyr - Brazy - Cal - ThooOOM - Benzki
K10 is the only representative of the Benelux scene. They are an excellent team who have prove their worth in the Valorant Trinity Trials. They simply won the Winter stage last February, before repeating the feat during the Spring stage in April. It remains to be seen how Apyr and his teammates will fare once they face the French teams.
