Valorians becomes 3DMax for Challengers France

Valorians is one of ten participants of Challengers France: Revolution in 2023. Recently, the organization 3DMax signed all the players, thereby recovering the slot won by the players last year.

The Valorians made their name via the Open Tour France 2022, under the name Atletec. After good performances in various stages of the competition, the team qualified for the final tournament. Determined to win, the players made it all the way to the Grand Final, where their opponents, only Top players, won.

By finishing in the top four of the tournament, Atletec advanced to the the promotion phase for the French VRL, now called Challengers France. Although the team did not find success in its opening match, it kept its head high to climb all the way up the lower bracket. Exit winner of the small final, the team has secured its place in the French League in 2023 and a slot in the French Cup of Valorant.

Last September, the roster was released by Atletec and is looking for a new home to represent for the next competitive season. The Coupe de France was the last tournament played under this name. The search finally paid off: the roster was recently signed by the 3DMax structure.

Several years back, 3DMax was particularly known for its exploits on Counter Strike, with its women's team winning the world championship in 2014. It is now back in the spotlight by joining the French Challengers. Her roster will have the opportunity to shine from 14th January, the date of the start of the tour.
