Team Liquid splits with Dreamas
Lithuanian player Aurimas " Dreamas " Zablockis recently announced on his social networks that he was no longer a member of Team Liquid. His adventure with the structure was short-lived, as he was recruited just one month ago.
Former player for OG LDN UTD, Dreamas joined his new team on 3rd June to replace L1NK. The latter would have made the choice to leave the structure following a loss of motivation and will to be a professional player, according to his former teammate ScreaM.
By the time the Lithuanian joined Liquid, the team was well into the Challengers 2 EMEA with two wins and one loss. With the arrival of this new player, the roster managed to secure two more victories to finally finish at the 2nd place in Group B. Their playoff adventure was short-lived, however, as they lost 2-1 to FunPlus Phoenix and then 2-1 to M3 Champions.
Following this defeat, Team Liquid has decided to part ways with Dreamas. The latter announced it on Twitter through a TwitLonger in which he explained that he had to learn to play support in a very short time and that in his eyes he had done a good job in the given circumstances.
The player is therefore once again open to new opportunities, but this time, however, he will resume his role as a sentinel. However, he announced that he would work more on the flex/support role to give himself a better chance of finding a team.
Team Liquid is now looking for a fifth player to compete in the Last Chance Qualifier, which starts on 7th August.
