Team Deathmatch arrives in Valorant with Episode 7

To celebrate the anniversary of Valorant, Riot Games has released a video taking a look back at 2023 before announcing what's coming soon to the game. Among the announcements was confirmation of the very imminent arrival of a Team Deathmatch mode during the Episode 7.

Team Deathmatch is a classic multiplayer FPS mode, and one that Valorant has been eagerly awaiting ever since Riot Volcano first hinted at its arrival, in May 2020. More recently, Anna Donlon, producer of Valorant, had deliberately let slip that the team death match was scheduled for 2023.

This time, confirmation is official: the word TDM will indeed be available at the launch of Episode 7. This mode is designed to offer fast-paced, high-octane action between players. We don't have any more details than that, other than to say that the mode will be played on a brand new map specially reserved for team battles of this kind.

Episode 7 of Valorant set to kick off at the end of June. So we should have some new information very soon.
