VALORANT

Spike Nations is back

Now that the Valorant Champions is over, we will have to keep the fans busy until the beginning of next season. That's why this year again Riot Games is partnering with BLAST to propose a third edition of the tournament Spike Nations.

Spike Nations is back! Created in 2020, this competition brings together 12 teams from different locations across EMEA region. Each roster is made up of professional players, as well as influencers and streamers from the VCT, VRL and Game Changers.

The objective? To win, yes, but above all to share the cashprize of €60,000. This will then be donated to associations chosen by the winning teams. Last year, Eastern Europe won the tournament and received €14,000, which was donated to Te Aud Romania.

The tournament will take place on 14th, 15th and 16th October next year, a three-day competition. It will start with a group stage where teams will be divided into three groups. The top two teams will then advance to a direct elimination phase. But beware, performance will not be the only factor in qualifying for the elimination phase. Fans will also be able to make donations to support their favourite team. At the end of the group stage, the two teams with the most donations will be guaranteed a place in the next round of the competition.

Here's the list of participants :

  • United-Kindgom
  • France
  • Spain
  • Portugal
  • Nordic countries
  • Poland
  • Turkey

The response from players to last year’s event was fantastic, and we’re glad to be able to work with BLAST once again to bring back Spike Nations for a third time. After what has been another exciting year for VALORANT, both in-game, and in our pro competitions, we’re excited for fans once again to get behind their nations and cheer on their favourite creators, pro players and personalities from the scene!
