polvi, from Tenstar to Global Esports

Since his debut on Valorant, polvi has played for many clubs in the EMEA region. In 2024, the Finnish player is embarking on a new adventure with Global Esportsand set out to conquer the Pacific League.

After Europe...

Niko Polvinen, aka polvilaunched on Valorant in 2020, but his career really took off with Tenstar in 2021. With this team, he finished fourth in Challengers 2 Stage 3 of the 2021 VCT and fourth in the Red Bull Home Ground 2. In 2022, Tenstar took part in the first VRL Northern Polaris Split, a segment in which it finished second on the podium. The Finn then moved on to the VRL France, competing for the Mad Lions account.

After the departure of MAD Lions for the NA Challengers in 2023, all the players have been released from their obligations. While xms joined the EMEA League with Karmine Corp, polvi returned to the Polaris Challengers. This time, the results were not convincing, as his new team - the Karmine Corp. Human Trapwires - finished 8th overall.

Polvi continued his career with OnlyFinsa Finnish team with no structure. The team has won a number of C-Tier tournaments, including the BEACON Open 2023 Split 1 - Division 1, and in doing so has earned a place in next season's Northern Polaris Challengers. However, polvi will not be taking part, as a new adventure awaits him!

... heading for the Pacific League

At the end of the season, polvi decided to leave OnlyFins, and took part in the 2023 French Valorant Cup with Valiant. Throughout the competition, he was very effective, and was even decisive in the final against Akroma. At the end of the match, the Finnish player's statistics were impressive: a rating of 1.41 and an ACS of 308 in particular. We still remember his superb ace to close Haven. No wonder he was awarded the title of MVP.

His performance did not go unnoticed, so much so that he was contacted by a franchisee. Global Esportsan Indian organisation, has acquired his talent for the 2024 season. Although she had wanted building the largest roster last yearWith a total of ten players, it has decided to stick with five members for the future.

From now on, polvi will fight alongside Benkai, Russ, blaZek1ng and Lightningfast. Although the latter sometimes plays Raze and Reyna, the Finn is likely to be the main Duelist in this new mix. If they can find the right synergy, they'll be able to come up with some interesting strategies and try to shine in the Pacific League!
