Ladder Valorant and community tournaments

Riot Games has unveiled a new platform entitled Ladder Valorant. It is offering anyone who is interested the chance to take part in community tournamentswith rewards to match. Between this new method of competition and the addition of Premier modeThe studio is developing the Valorant sports scene even further.

Keen to bring the competitive experience to as many players as possible, Riot Games continues to develop alternative methods of taking part in tournaments. Today, the American firm is presenting its Ladder Valorant platformspecially designed to organise community tournaments.

Any player who wants to can sign up for the tournaments, by joining a team or creating their own. A minimum of five players is required. Note that to take part, each team must appoint a Manager, who will be the point of contact with the administrators. You can find more information on this subject at in the FAQ.

As in Premier mode, the players are divided into different tiers - Operator, Vandal and Sheriff - depending on the average level of their team. Selection for either ladder is as follows:

  • Operator - This is the highest level of the competition. It is reserved for Ascendant and above players.
  • Vandal - This level is reserved for players of Platinum rank 1 to Diamond rank 3.
  • Sheriff - This level is reserved for players below Gold 3.

Bearing in mind that teams have to define their average rank to select the tier in which to enter, Riot gives some indications of minimum rank for each level. For example, Diamond 1 is a high minimum to play in the Operator ladder and you'll need at least Gold 1 for the Vandal ladder.

Thanks to this system, matches will be between teams of a similar level. To request a match, go to your ladder page, select the team you want to play and click on Challenge. If you win the game, you will get 100 points. If you lose, you will receive 10 points.

In each ladder, the team who has accumulated the most points at the end of the allotted time will be declared the winner of the round. In addition, the best players in the Operator tier will also be deemed winners of the competition.

The competition begins on 27 November and ends on 22 December. If you want to prove your talent, you know what you have to do. Have a good game!
