The new Valorant Sentinel unveiled at the Tokyo 2023 Masters Final

At the beginning of the year, Riot Games announced the arrival of three new Agentsincluding a Sentinel. Shortly after this announcement, we had the chance to discover Gekko, an Intitiator with innovative abilities. A few months later, it was the turn of this famous Sentinel to make its appearance in Valorant. As usual, the studio is taking advantage of the media coverage of a major competition to make its presentation. The reveal is scheduled for following a showmatchahead of the Tokyo Masters Grand Final.

The new Valorant Sentinel will be presented on the day of the Tokyo Masters final.

At present, we have very little information about this new, twenty-second agent. The only official information has been provided by Anna DonlonProducer of Valorant, through a video dedicated to the future of FPS. According to her, this Sentinel " will stop you dead in your tracks, then bring you closer to get a better look" . These words are rather enigmatic, but they make more sense when you look at the gadgets visible on the first visual released. It would appear that the Sentinel is taking advantage of state-of-the-art cameras This gives us the potential to monitor individuals very closely.

A new Sentinel is planned for Valorant before the end of 2023.

In addition, one of the of the current combat pass shows a design that bears a striking resemblance to the shell seen in the lower part of the image above. Entitled Death trapThe latter could tell us a little more about this new Agent's abilities. In the centre of the map you can see what could be a spider's web. By copying the work of arachnids, it could deploy a sort of sticky net, effectively capable of slowing or even stopping an enemy dead in its tracks. Of course, this is just a guess.
