FOKUS recruits purp0 for the 2023 season

In order to keep its number one position, FOKUS will now be able to rely on the expertise of purp0, former M3C player. The structure has chosen to complete its new roster with Lime and kpZET. Last year, it proved to be one of the best German teams. After an excellent performance in the VRL, they moved up to the next level by joining the VCT. Knowing that it's not part of the ten selected for the EMEA League, it will return to the VCT in 2023, but this time within Northern Europe.

After his victory in the first VRL DACH: Evolution split, FOKUS won the VCT promotional tournament. In doing so, the structure entered the Challengers 2 EMEA, in which it finished in 11/12th place.

Next year, the German team will return to the newly named VRL circuit the Challengers. If it participated in the German league in 2022, it seems that it will tackle the Challengers Northern Europe in 2023.

The team's goals for next season are clear: after dominating the VRL DACH, it is time for them to become the Kings of the North. In addition to YaBoiLewis and JUGi, the two players already present, FOKUS will benefit from the talent of three new recruits to achieve this objective. It has thus chosen to put its trust in purp0, Lime and kpZE.

The first is a former member of the M3 Champions roster, with which he finished second in the LCQ EMEA. A regular in the competition, purp0 took part in Challengers 1 EMEA with Acend earlier in the year, and then at the VRL MENA. In the latter tournament, he finished third on the podium with XPLDZ, his former team.

Lime is another very good player from the German circuit. He was part of the Angry Titans, who finished fourth in Split 1 of the VRL DACH, before taking the lead in the second Split.

FOKUS completes new roster with Danish player kpZET. As a Controller, and more particularly as an Omen-hand lately, he is a wise choice as he brings the missing touch to his new team.

Before conquering the northern territories, this roster will have the opportunity to prove itself soon at the Redbull Home Ground 3 planned for December.
