Dimasick joins Team Liquid

With the recent departure of L1NK, Team Liquid needed to complete its roster for the Last Chance Qualifier EMEA. This has now been done, as the structure recently announced the arrival of Dimasick for the end of the season. This new team will be able to show all its knowledge from next Monday.

Dmitriy Matvienko alias Dimasick is a former professional CS:GO player. He won the Qi Banja Luka 2019 and the DreamHack Delhi Invitational 2019 with the team pro100. The player quickly decides to turn to Valorant when it is released.

He is used to high level competition and has played for several big teams during the first edition of the VCT, such as One Breath Gaming or FunPlus Phoenix. With the latter he finished 1/4th in two European Challengers during phase 1, and even managed to reach 3/4th place in the European Masters. Lately he has been playing for Team Finest during Split 1 of the VRL Northern: Polaris.

Dimasick has long specialised as a Sentinel, most notably with Cypher, but lately he has been expanding his pool of Agents, favouring Raze and Sova. As his new teammates have pointed out in an interview, he is particularly effective during pistol-rounds. There is no doubt that it will give a hard time to the other teams qualified for the LCQ.

Team Liquid will start the Last Chance Qualifier next week. The roster will face off against BBL Esports players on Monday 8th August at 4pm CEST. To follow the match, go to the Twitch channel of Valorant.
