The Red Bull Home Ground is one of the main off-season tournaments on Valorant. This year, the competition is taking place in Japan. For the occasion, ZETA Division and Scarztwo Japanese organisations, have been invited to take part. It's no surprise, then, that Riot Games has selected the country of the rising sun to host the tournament. to host the previous Masters.

There's more to come from Japan, as after this international LAN of the VCT 2023, the Red Bull Home Ground 4 will take place at at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan Sumo stadiumTokyo's iconic building. The Red Bull Home Ground 4 format

What makes the Red Bull Home Ground so appealing is without doubt its unique competition format compared to official VCT matches: the Home and Away. The principle couldn't be simpler: before each match, the teams choose a card to represent their house.

The matches are all BO5. The match starts with the two cards that have been selected and, if one of the teams wins, it's an automatic victory and, consequently, the end of the game. However, if there is a tie, the match continues as normal and goes to BO5.

The competition will begin with a group stagewith a Swiss system and BO1s. At the end of this stage, the six best teams will advance to the next round. the playoffswhich operate with a traditional double elimination shaft and the Home and Away format mentioned above.
