Big changes at Acend
Some changes have recently been announced in the European roster Acend, following their setbacks at the Challengers 1 EMEA.
Current reigning world champions, Acend failed to shine at the first Challengers of the year. Indeed, the team did not even make it through the group stages and only achieved one top 9-10.
At the end of March, the structure therefore announced that BONECOLD was put on the bench. He was followed by Kiles a few days later, even though the contracts of all the players were renewed for a year at the beginning of February. After a month of inactivity, Acend finally decided to separate from them.
The roster was not left incomplete for long, however, as the team announced that it had signed vakk and MONSTEERR.
Vakk is a former Vitality player, he has notably won the Open Tour France last November and has also participated in the VRL for the first split 2022. MONSTEERR participated in some Challengers qualifiers during the VCT 2021 season and played at Giants in 2022 for the VRL Spain.
It is hoped that these two new recruits will enable the team to perform well in the second half of the season, perhaps repeating their title at the Champions in September.
