Dates for SpeeDons 3, the speedrun charity marathon

Speedons 3It's coming soon! After two editions successful charity marathon created by Mister MV returns in March for even more records. The event will be held at the Palais des Congrès in Paris, 9, 10, 11 and 12 March next year. All four days will be broadcast on its Twitch channel.

Today, there are a multitude of charity events streamed live on Twitch. As far as speedrunit is indeed SpeeDons which is the law in France. In the manner of the Awesome Games Done QuickIn the first half of the year, dozens of players take turns to play continuously for several days, in order to complete many games as quickly as possible.

In the previous edition, more than €800,000 were raised for Médecins du Monde, the organisation behind the event. With the resounding success of the event, SpeeDons 3 was announced last December. This year, the marathon will start Thursday 9 March and will be closed Sunday 12 in the evening.

While some online shows take great advantage of the fame of influencers, SpeeDons focuses more on the individual performances of the guest players. The speedrunners present are selected; they are real experts in their field.

And there is something for everyone! For this third edition, you can admire the prowess of 70 players on games as varied as Tunic, Command & Conquer Remastered, It Takes Two, Half-Life 2 or Euro Truck Simulator 2, to name but a few.
