Stage 1 of the Trackmania Ascension finally takes place in Lyon

A few weeks ago, ZeratoR announced the launch of a new annual event: the Ascension. A circuit of three tournaments on different games from one year to the next. While the first edition was due to be held at the Casino de ParisIt will finally be played in Lyon.

The cause was major water damage at the Casino de Paris following the bad weather that has hit the Paris region in recent days. The managers of the venue are obliged to carry out an administrative closure while work is carried out. As a result, the Casino de Paris will not be able to host the first stage of the Ascension on 29 June 2023, as originally planned.

The first stage will finally be played out in Lyon, or more precisely in Villeurbanneat the Pôle Pixel. It will be held Thursday 29 June as plannedbut with a smaller audience. The hall can only accommodate 200 people.

Spectators who have reserved their tickets for the Casino de Paris are invited to monitor their mailboxes (and their spam), as they must have received an email informing them of the options available to them to attend the show anyway or get their money back. Those who have bought tickets for the Casino de Paris have priority to attend the first stage in Lyon, but also for the other stages if they so wish.

As far as online spectators are concerned, nothing has changed. The competition will be broadcast on ZeratoR's Twitch channelon Thursday 29 June from 7.30pm.
