Hex League Set 9.5: Kenobi wins on Day 3
This third day of the Hex League Set 9.5 has been marked by the dominance of newcomers from of the latest Up and Down. Thus, Kenobi and Crococostaud demonstrated all their know-how and proved once again that they really do belong on the circuit. Here's a quick recap of the evening.
Scoreboard
Kenobi didn't steal his victory on the third day of competition. Although he started the evening with a timid TOP5, he followed that up with two fine TOP1s, which enabled him to take pole position. CrococostaudHe was unable to win. However, the PCS player still finished second, thanks to his two TOP2 finishes in games 3 and 4. PasDeBolwho was fairly consistent throughout the evening, took third place just one point behind Crococostaud.

The Kenobi coup

While he definitely impressed in game 2, Kenobi was even more impressive in the next game. After another lose streak, he completely dominated the game thanks to its Challenger/Darkin/Noxus composition and its terrifying Mordekaiser. At the end of the 5-7, Kenobi takes his tenth victory in a row. Attempts to bring him down were in vain. In the end, he won one last time against Voltariux, with 39 life points on the clock.
