A pre-evolution for Terapagos, the Legendary of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC

Just under two months ago, The Pokémon Company took advantage of the Pokémon Day to reveal upcoming DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. It was then learned that two new Legendary Pokémon would be appearing. Today, we discover a new Pokémon that seems to be the pre-evolution of one of them.

We don't know its name, nor its type, just its little face. This smiling Pokémon is said to be related to Terapagos, the Legendary Pokémon of the Académie Myrtillethe second part of the Buried Treasure DLC.

It's hard to say much more at the moment, but it's a safe bet that this Pokémon is related in some way to the Zero Zone Crystals that allow Teracrystallisation. Terapagos itself seemed to have crystals in the colours of all the existing Pokémon types.

He appeared in the first episode of the next generation of the Pokémon cartoon aired this weekend. If you didn't know, after more than 20 years of adventures, Sacha has left his place to Liko, a new heroine, and the anime is taking a whole new turn.

The discovery of a new, as yet unknown Pokémon in the heroine's first adventure is reminiscent of Ho-Oh's first appearance in the very first episode of the Pokémon anime.

As a reminder, part 1 of the DLC will be available in Autumn 2023. Part 2, which should feature this new Pokémon, is scheduled for release in Winter 2023.
