In this section we will:
- Reaching Alforneira
- Confronting Menzi
- Doing fitness exercises
- Fight Tully, the Psy Arena Champion
If you follow the order we recommendYou've just picked up the Earthquake Secret Spice in the Roastable Desert. Use this area to raise your Bug, Spectre and Darkness Pokémon to level 45, ideally. They will be useful for your next destination, which is none other than the Psy Arena.
Use the quick transfer point to to Sevaro. Then head towards the South Zone n°6, in the direction of of Alforneira. There are two ways to reach the plateau on which it is located:
- Either you have already battled the Dominant Pokémon Dragonbeard, in which case your mount can climb walls of the mountain. Just make your way to the city plateau.
- Either you do not yet have this capacity and you must cross the Alforneira cave. This one requires the 'Bond' ability, which you picked up after the Steel-Trench Dominant. The entrance is in the cliffs near the coast, which you access via South Zone 4.
On leaving the cave, continue along the road to the top to discover the Arena. When you arrive, you will come across Menziwho congratulates you on your progress and your victories in the previous arenas. She takes the opportunity to challenge you once again. Her team includes four Pokémon level 42 or 43, including Lougaroc, Pohmarmotte and Colimucus. The last one always depends on your starter. After his defeat, Menzi offers you 3 Max Potions and you receive 7740 Pokédollars.
Onwards to fitness
Once you've beaten Menzi, speak to the receptionist to find out the instructions for the challenge. The Arena exam, entitled Fitness Emotionis an invention of Tully. It consists of some fitness exercises. Exit the Arena and talk to the person in the black tracksuit on your left.
The rules are simple: the sports teacher shows you movementsYou must reproduce them within the time limit. Once this step is completed, you must fight another participant. You then go back for another exercise session, before facing a second trainer.
- First opponent - It has two level 43 Pokémon, Mesmerella (Psy), and Kirlia (Psy/Fairy). Victory earns you 6020 Pokédollars.
- Second opponent - It has two level 43 Pokémon, Groret (Psy) Charmina (Psy/Combat), and a third level 40, Wimessir (Psy/Normal). Victory earns you 6020 Pokédollars.
Get the Psy badge
The end of the second fight marks your success in the Arena exam. You can return to the reception area to start the fight against Tully. This Champion is specialised in the PsyYou'll need to have some resilient Pokémon and some healing for them if the battle goes on for a long time. So you'll need tough Pokémon and something to heal them with if the battle drags on.
Tully has four Pokémon Farigiraf, Gardevoir, Cleopsytra and Florges. Beware of the latter Pokémon, which switches from Plant and Fairy types to Psy after Teracrystallization. To defeat this formidable team, we recommend Pokémon of level 45 and to give preference to those Insect, Spectre and Darkness types.
If you win, Tully gives you 8100 Pokédollars, as well as the CT120 - Psyko. In addition to these two rewards, you will also receive the Psy Badge. This penultimate badge allows you to capture Pokémon up to level 55.
When you return to the arena, you will come across Cyenn and Popi Council 4. The Pokémon League and its Council are now within reach. There is only one Champion left to beat, Grushain order to obtain the eighth and final badge needed for the quest The Way of the Master.
The Ice Arena is located in the North Zone, at the top of Mount Nappe. The easiest way to get there is to teleport to Frigao. We will see the rest of the journey in the next section.
