Pokémon Scarlet and Violet - Mashynn presents Ampibidou

The latest to be unveiled is Farigirafthe evolution of Girafarig. But a new little creature has been in the spotlight for a few days now, and it's AmpibidouMashynn's partner Pokémon.

Remember, a few days ago Nintendo revealed one of the arena champions for the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games: Mashynn. Through a video of about four minutes, she offered us a game to find out who her partner Pokémon was, without revealing its identity.

With so much mystery, many fans of the licence have been eagerly waiting to find out who was behind Mashynn's description. The wait is over as a new video has been released by Nintendo, in which the champion poses with her little Pokémon, which goes by the name of Ampibidou.

Ampibidou is therefore a ninth generation Pokémon that is type Electrik and looks a bit like a frog. It can generate a colossal amount of energy and electricity in its belly, which it then projects thanks to the organs on either side of its head, which look like its eyes. Yes, because his eyes are actually small and yellow and implanted in the middle of his face, just above his mouth.

Ampibidou will bring to the game a new talent: Grecharge. This allows the small creature to charge itself with electricity when attacked, allowing it to increase the power of its next Electrik ability.

You can probably meet him in the wild or face him in the Levalendura arena to confront his trainer Mashynn.
