Get Typhlosion with Teracristal Raids in Pokémon Violet and Scarlet
Teracristal raids are an integral part of Pokémon Violet and Scarlet. In the first few raids, players were able to pick up a beautiful Fire-type Pokémon. Soon, another iconic Fire-type Pokémon will make an appearance in the Black Crystal raids. Get Ready to Battle Tyohlosion !
Teracristal raids include different levels of difficultyrepresented by stars. The higher the number, the more difficult the battle and the greater the rewards. If level 6 and 7 star raids are quite complex to obtain, the raids 5 stars are easier to unlock. They can be accessed once you have completed the Zone Zero events. Raids 1 starThese are available from the start of your adventure.
To participate in a Teracristal raid, open the Poké-Portal and go to the specific tab.
After the adorable Vole and Royal Shifters, a mythical Pokémon that first appeared in the Gold version makes its appearance in 7-star raids. This time, you will have the opportunity to fight, and especially to capture, a Typhlosion!

A valuable Pokémon means a difficult battle! Not only does this Typhlosion have the Powerful Badgebut in addition it will have the Teracrystal Spectrum type. It's going to be a tough battle, but to maximise your chances of victory, we've selected two Pokémon that will be effective against it.
Since it is normally a Fire-type and will have the Spectre Teratype, you need Pokémon that are suited to this situation. Although it's hard to predict all of this Typhlosion's attacks, we chose the following Pokémon:
- Barbicha - Water/Ground Types. This Pokémon has some very interesting basic attacks for this battle, including Muddy Water and Earthquake. To be even more effective, you can teach it Hydro Pumpvia TC 142, or Surfvia the TC 123.
- Crocorible - Ground/Darkness types. It should allow you to inflict good damage at the beginning of a fight with ground attacks, such as Earthquake. With other attacks, such as Crunch or Foul PlayThis Pokémon will also be effective after Typhlosion Teracrystallization.
The event will take place at two different times: 14-16 April at first, then 21-23 April. Take advantage of the event to pick up this Pokémon, which is not normally present in the Paldea region. We don't know when, or even if, Typhlosion will make another appearance in the game.
