Pokémon Mystery - Solution Part 4 - Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Continuation of the solution to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet with this Part 4: The Mysterious Pokémon.

In this section we will:

• Meet Koraidon / Miraidon
• Crossing the Cavern of the Cove
• Arrive at the lighthouse (finally!) and meet Pepper

A Mysterious Pokémon

On your way to the lighthouse you hear a strange scream. You and Menzi go looking for its origin. Get close to the cliff where the barrier is broken and you'll see Malosses attacking a weakened Pokémon.

The ground beneath your feet shifts and you're on the beach, facing that pesky Pokémon. Depending on your version, it will either be Koraidon (for Pokémon Scarlet players) or Miraidon (for Pokémon Violet players). For the rest of the adventure, we will call it your companion " or " your mount"  to avoid confusion between the two versions.

The Pokémon can't move, it's hungry. Give it the Sandwich offered by your Mum and he will regain his strength for a while. He will then transform into his fighting form, on two legs. Grateful for your gesture, he opens the Cove Cave for you.

Escorted into the Cavern of the Cove

Follow your companion into the cave. Despite the presence of Malosses, nothing bad can happen to you thanks to your escort. You can therefore make small detours to capture a Mongoose or a Taupikeur.

After a while you will be attacked by a level 40 Demolossus. You won't be able to beat him, but that's okay. Your companion will get you out of this predicament in a flash. That said, it will take so much energy that it will turn back into a four-legged Pokémon. It's not quite your Pokémon yet, but it will be with you for the rest of the adventure.

Menzi is relieved that you're okay, but has a lot of questions about this strange Pokémon. She gives you the Meteor TC and you exchange phone numbers. It's finally time to go to the Lighthouse!

The Lighthouse and Pepper

In front of the Lighthouse is a young man who is visibly annoyed that you have the mysterious Pokémon by your side. His name is Pepper and he challenges you to a fight immediately.

Convinced that you'll be able to handle the mystery Pokémon (or rather, happy to get rid of it), Pepper gives you his Pokéball. You are now bound to your companion for the entire adventure!

It is finally time to climb to the top of the Lighthouse where Menzi is waiting for you. She will introduce you to the continent of Paldea and its wonders before pointing you to the Academy. This is your next objective!
