Pokémon Violet and Scarlet's Turquoise Mask DLC unveiled in video
Announced several months ago, the DLC for Pokémon Violet and Scarlet, entitled The Buried Treasure of the Zero Zone reveals even more in images and video! At the recent Pokémon Presents, The Pokémon Company announced a release date and revealed a whole host of new information about Turquoise Maskpart one. Here's a summary of what's new.
Take part in an orienteering race
In the first volume of the DLC The Buried Treasure of the Zero ZoneYou will have the opportunity to go on a school trip with your classmates, under the guidance of Briaa professor at the Institut Myrtille with a passion for teracrystallisation. Your holiday destination is none other than the brand new region, Septentria. It is a true haven of peace, known for the impressive mountain at its centre, its rice fields as far as the eye can see and its countless orchards.
Shortly after your arrival, you will be invited to take part in an orienteering race. You'll have to scour the four corners of this unknown territory in search of answers. To be more precise, you will be mandated to discover the three frescoes illustrating local folkloreand investigate legends.
Since the announcement of the DLC, we've known about the existence of three special Pokémon, Félicanis, Fortusimia and Favianos. What we didn't know, however, was their link with the community living on the lands of Septentria. In this video, we learn that they are true heroes in the eyes of the inhabitants, who have nicknamed them the Adoramis. It seems that this status is linked to a terrible monster, which is most likely Ogerpon, the legendary character from this additional content.
The Teracrystallised form of Ogerpon
As we have just mentioned, this Ogerpon is of vital importance in The Turquoise Mask DLC. In fact, he gives this content its name, as he features a frightening mask. We didn't know who he was, or even what he looked like, but we hadn't yet had a chance to see him in action. its Teracristillised form. It's now done, and the least we can say is that he's indeed scary! The nature of his powers remains unclear for the moment.

Become a Pokémon photographer
This new adventure will also introduce you to the joys of Pokémon photography. It was in getting to know a certain LithiaA young woman in search of a very special Pokémon.
We don't yet know which Pokémon the roving photographer is tracking, but with Ogerpon probably around and the new Paradox Pokémon available, Ire-Foudre and Chef-de-Fer, it's a safe bet that it's one of them.
You will also receive a pole for the Motismart during your journey, so you can capture the unforgettable moments you'll experience with your friends and Pokémon. You can now also direct your creaturesSo they don't run away when you try to capture their little faces with your smartphone!
Have fun with the Monster Hunt
Between two walks to discover the superb landscapes of Septentria, you can also discover the local culture through the famous Festival of Masks and another very pleasant activity. We're talking about Monster Hunta traditional event in the region!
In this mini-game, you are invited to explode Monster Balloons moving around with your mount, with the aim of recover as many berries as possible. You'll then have to take them to the corresponding podiums. Monster Hunt can be played solo or with up to four other players if you're playing online. The challenge may seem simple at first, but it's not! Little wolverines will prey on harvested berries to make your job easier!
But it's well worth the effort. Depending on your performance, you'll earn rewards including of the Mochis. Most allow increase basic stats of a Pokémon, but one of them allows you to reset these stats.
The Pokémon Company took advantage of this trailer to reveal further information about the second part of this DLC, namely The Indigo Disc. We can't wait to get our hands on it, but we'll have to wait until the end of the year.
