Reach Jarramanca and then Porto Marinada

If you follow the order you advise usYou are currently located in the east of Paldea and have defeated the Trench Steel Dominant. Now we invite you to continue with the quest entitled The way of the Masterin order to collect your fourth badge. The next Arena Champion is located in the city of Jarramanca. This is nothing less than Kombu, the guardian of the Water Arena.

Earlier in the adventure, before going to At the meeting of MashynnIn order to get the transfer point, we recommend that you go to this city. Therefore, you can, normally, teleport you there immediately.

When you have reached the Arena, you see Kombu, running away. A member of staff calls out to you and asks you to chase after him to bring him his wallet that he forgot. When you joined Kombu, you are challenged by a trainer with two Pokémon: Mustéflott and Flingouste of about level 30. You will get 3920 Pokédollars after defeating it and you will finally be able to talk to the Water Arena Champion.

Winning the auction for Kombu

While you are talking to Kombu, a seller makes a bid that catches your attention. Kombu wants to get the famous wakame seaweed from Hoenn for sale. He asks you to win the auction as an arena test and provides you with 50,000 Pokédollars to achieve this.

The bidding price is 10,000 Pokédollars. First offer 15,000 to the seller. The bidding quickly rises to 30,000. When you are invited, click on I'll wait a bit. The next time propose 40 000 to win the prize. Kombu congratulates you and offers you the rest of the money.

Get the Water badge

Return to Jarramanca and take the path to the Arena. In the Hall, no Menzi in sight, but the professor Hansa is there. You will also meet Cayenn for the first time, who is none other than the first female Champion of Council 4 of the League Pokémon.

Since you have passed the exam with flying colours, you can fight Kombu. He does not have that three Water-type Pokémon Delestin, Triopikeau and Crabominable. Beware, though: these Pokémon are quite powerful. To get rid of them, you'll need to be able to kill them quickly or be very resistant.

For this arena, we recommend that you have Pokémon from level 30 and to give preference to those of the Plant and Electrik type. By respecting these conditions, the fight should not be too complex.

The Pokémon of Kombu :

When you have won the match, you receive 5400 Pokédollars, as well as CT022 - Cold shower. In addition to these two rewards, you will get the Water Badge. With this, you can now capture all Pokémon from level 1 to 40.
