Ire-Foudre and Chef-de-Fer, two new Paradoxes in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Between the recent Pokémon Presents and publications on social networks, The Pokémon Company has made one revelation after another concerning the DLC The Buried Treasure of the Zero Zone. Among all the new features unveiled, we learn that there are two new Pokémon Paradoxes, Ire-Foudre and Chef-de-Ferwill soon be available in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

Pokémon Violet and Pokémon Scarlet introduced Pokémon Paradox. There are two types: those from from the pastavailable in the Scarlet version, and those straight from the of the futureYou'll meet them in the Violet version. We've known about them for quite a while now - but we're not going to forget them. Fort-Ivoire and Roue-de-Fer first appeared on video last November.

With the arrival of the DLC The Buried Treasure of the Zero ZoneYou'll have the chance to meet many more, including Legendaries. So, if you own the Scarlet - and the DLC - you'll be able to meet Ire-Foudre (Raging Bolt), a prehistoric version of the mythical Raikou appeared in Pokémon Gold and Silver. Holders of the Violetthey may come across Chef-de-Fer (Iron Crown), a futuristic version of Cobaltiumone of the Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Black and White.

EDIT: Thanks to the new trailer dedicated to Volume 2 of the DLC, we now know that Ire-Foudre is of type Electrick and Dragonwhile Chef-de-Fer is Steel and Psy. The video also gives us a few more details, particularly about their abilities. Ire-Foudre will be able to use Vif Eclairwhich allows him to strike before the target attacks. Chef-de-Fer, for his part, will take advantage of the one entitled Tachyonic Bladeto hit twice in a row for sure.

We don't have any information about their type, but from the Pokémon they're associated with, it's pretty obvious that they're the most common type of Pokémon. that Ire-Foudre is partly of the type Electrikand Chef-de-Fer has at least the type Steel.

This is not the first time that former Legendary Pokémon have made an appearance in this opus in Paradox form. A few months ago, The Pokémon Company presented Serpente-Eau and Vert-de-Ferassociated with Suicune and Viridium.

These Pokémon come from mythical trios, the Legendary Fauves for Raikou and Suicine and the Blades of Justice for Viridium and Cobaltium. Two of the three Pokémon have already had a version in Violet and Scarlet, Entai and Terrakium could also be transformed in the future.

As a reminder, the first volume of the DLC, Turquoise Maskwill be available from 13 September, while we'll have to wait until winter to fight Council 4 of Le Disque Indigo content.
