Colza, Champion of the Plant Arena - Solution Part 11 - Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

Continuation of the solution to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet with this Part 11: your second Arena exam and your second badge.

Reaching Cuencia

Now that you have defeated the Rock Cliff Dominant, we invite you to continue the quest for The way of the Master. Your second opponent is none other than Colza, the Champion of the Plant Arena. His building is located not far from your current position, in the city of Cuenciabetween the South Zone n°3 and the East Zone n°1.

To reach your destination, go up the coast eastwards into the valley and simply follow the path. In this area, you'll be able to meet new Pokémon, such as Makuhita, to add to your Pokédex if you wish. Also, take the time to build up your Fire Pokémon, which are particularly useful in the battles that await you.

Participate in the Heliatronc Gathering

Once in the city, head south: the Arena is located near the playground. In the hall, you will meet again MenziBut this time, it will offer you 3 Doses of Oil. As we saw with the previous Arena, you must complete a challenge in order to face the master of the house.

Here, the receptionist explains that you must participate in The Heliatronc Gathering. This challenge asks you to find a total of 10 Heliatronc, which are scattered all over the city. Some are in the playground, some by the pool, some in the maze. There is no need to capture them, they will automatically follow you once you have approached them.

Leave the Arena and join Heliatronc Square. Start a conversation with the person there to begin the activity. Go on a hunt and return only when you have the required number of Pokémon. The staff will then validate your access to the Arena.

Get the Plant badge

Return to the arena and speak to the receptionist, who will allow you to fight Rape. This Champion, specialised in the Plant type, does not have that three Pokémon Chlorobule, Olivini and Simularbre. If they're not too difficult to beat, you might be surprised by its latest Pokémon, which goes down well to Plant Type after Teracrystallisation. What's more, he has good defence statistics, allowing him to deal with attacks.

For this arena, we recommend that you have Pokémon from level 17 and to give preference to those of the following types Fire, Ice, Poison, Flight and Insect. In this way, you should be able to overcome the Champion easily.

Rape Pokémon:

When you have won the fight, you receive 3060 Pokédollars, as well as CT020 - Weedkiller. In addition to these two awards, Colza offers you the Plant badgeyour second badge. You can now capture all Pokémon up to level 30.

On your way back to the reception, you are approached by Hassa, one of the members of the Council 4 of the Pokémon League, who also teaches fine arts at your academy. He tells you that you'll have to fight him sooner or later to become a Pokémon Master.

At this stage, we advise you to head for the West Zone n°1by teleporting to Sevaro. This territory is home to Lestombailethe Vast Sky Dominant, guardian of the Secret Bitter Spice. Once you have defeated him, your mount can learn Surf mount capability.
